For the third summer in a row, members of the Kansas State women's basketball team will represent the United States in international competition. Senior-to-be Nicole Ohlde and junior-to-be Kendra Wecker were named to the 12-member 2003 USA Basketball World Championship For Young Women Team and junior-to-be Laurie Koehn was named to the 12-member 2003 USA Basketball Women's Pan America Games Team. Kansas State Set To Play In State Farm Tip-Off Classic
For a second year in a row, the Kansas State women's basketball team will be one of the first teams in the country to start the 2003-04 season when it plays Purdue in the 2003 State Farm Women's Tip-Off Classic Nov. 16 in West LaFayette, Ind. Duke and Texas will square off in the first game of the doubleheader, which will precede a meeting between the Wildcats and the Boilermakers. (more)
